Apparently my folks decided to surprise me with a trip to Aruba for my 18th birthday. The details of this surprise are still hidden, but I do know we will be flying on Oct 30 and returning on Nov 7 of this year (I hope, haha!)

Since all of the adult pleasures in Aruba require you be at least 18 years old, I will be able to sip an adult bevvie while I engage in Poker night! Sounds exciting!

Upon further review, I learned that US Airways flies to AUA form BOS,LGA,CLT and PHL. But on my days their is only CLT service and on the return a CLT and PHL service. I guess the point to point flights will be around during the Winter months.

I’ve been to Aruba in 2005 and love it. It’s a Dutch piece of heaven in the Caribbs. You can often spot a KLM MD-11 coming in from AMS,

there’s also a KLM 747,

and there’s even an US Airways A319 in the Philly Eagles liverly in Aruba. What a catch!

Aruba is known as “One Happy Island” and with this upcoming trip, I feel like I am “One Happy clicKer!”.
