Author: I’ve been so quiet over the last few days- sorry! The truth is I have been playing arduosly to get into the top seven of the Advance Your Wold Challenge. As of 11PM CST I am on 5th on the rank list with a score of 5:14.905 with 4th place so close!
The game is great- I have improved immensely in Tokyo the most, but I find Costa Rica the hardest at this point.
I think a lot of people are cheating in this challenge, notably “shiniwata” who was already removed twice.
I also see some FlyerTalkers are participating which I knew would happen- good luck to you guys and gals. Currently, FlyerTalk is off limits for me (I’ll be back in a few months), but I do see someone is talking about me on Page 7 of the thread. To answer the question- yes it is me who is participating. I am Kinglobjaw!
I will post an update in a few days. Be sure to wish me luck! I wish you luck as well! Don’t cheat. My fingers hurt so much, but I won’t mind if you are honest.

Thanks for not cheating – you’ll find I’m in the Top 7, but it’s nice to see another honest person playing the game. It’s obvious that bwiest and ilirako are cheating as well – not because of their total time, but look at some of the individual races. It is impossible to shave that many seconds off. Even running the races perfectly through, NOT picking up all the icons except the speed one, and then subtracting time as if you did pick them up – it is still 2 seconds slower than some of their times, which is impossible.

Anyway, good luck! It’s going to be a rough few weeks with thousands more joining. Hope we can hang on to the “branches” and ride out the storm!

My screenname is Eryeal … Hawaii is driving me nuts .. I’ve played that one more than any other and it’s my worst score. I’ve done it so many perfect times and still can’t improve on my time at all, but there must be a way!
You killed New York! I’m going to work on that one tomorrow to see if I can improve any, but that’s gonna be tough!
Yes I’m also on Flyertalk, but I’m silent there. Yeah I’m hoping we can ride it out as well – good thing is that our scores are so good after playing for so long it will probably depress most people and they’ll give up. I’m at the point now when I try to improve on one score a day because that’s about all I can do at this point if I’m lucky!
Do you think you can lower your score under 5 minutes?
It seems as if #1 and #2 stopped playing for a while. Maybe AMEX gave them the boot? I know ‘shiniwata’ was booted, yet his Sydney, AUS score is still there at 1:03…

I have been following your guy’s times with some admiration for the last few days. I’m with you on bwiest1 and ilirako’s times – they have got to be cheating. I am doubting ebkoo100′s time as well. I’ve been pretty convinced that both your guy’s times have been real – or at least I can see how you might have gotten them. But how do we know that the cheaters won’t just post a time that is a smidgen faster than yours and hence still looks plausible?
BTW my FT handle is germansoks and in the promo i am currently ranked 15 with hopes of improving substantially until 4/15.

How could people cheat on this game?
I have been able to cut time off by cutting around corners in different ways and keeping to straight-line driving whenever possible…..I think the low score times are perfectly reasonable and possible given what scores I have been able to attain and then subtracting off mistakes and bad luck. It certainly requires certain “benefits” to be at the right place at the right time..
