This is a second update on regarding American Express’ Advance Your World Challenge in partnership with Hilton HHonors.

Got a comment in my previous post from another player, Eryeal. This is the good kind of player, not a cheater. He’s just less than half a second ahead of me and I am done for the night. Guess I will continue this tommorow or maybe I should take time off over the weekend?

I can’t believe how I’ve put my entire online life on hold to play this for hours!

Have a nice clicK life,

Congrats on being #1! Are you on messenger or something? I’d really like to get some tips from you. I cannot improve any of my times whatsoever. I can’t see how I can improve 1/2 second on Tokyo!

Disregard the last comment – I played a ton today and after much frustration ended up posting some pretty good improved scores! I think I’m going to take a rest from the game for a bit and hope my score keeps me in the top 7 for a while!

Good job guys on being 2 & 3 (as of this morning). My ID is jjwhitley. Not cheating, just a lot of hours. First time in my 18 years of marriage that my wife has encouraged me to play video games on my PC!

    Hey James,

How did you get such a good time in Australia? I’ve played that over and over again, and even on an absolutely perfect run with little turning and hugging the corners I’m still over a full second away from your score. Any tips or hints for that run? I can’t imagine lowering my time there by .1 seconds, much less 1 full second so there must be something I’m missing. Thanks in advance!

If I recall properly, I basically got lucky and every bonus was straight in front of me. Swerving for those baby’s seems to cost a 1/2 sec or more. Outside of that, just hugging the corners and hoping there are no obstacles.

I see I am now 6th. Guess I need to find a few hundredths of a second somewhere! Not sure our times will hold up over the next 30 days. Ugh.

    Hey folks, Mark here!

Sorry that I have been quiet for a while but Friday the 13th was HELL for me. I guess the only good thing that happened was early in the day when I made 1st place in the game.

By that evening a power surge hit my PC which knocked out my hard drive which wasn’t backed up completely so I lost some files but thankfully almost no digital pictures or videos!

I purchased a new battery back up and hard drive today and had to install everything from scratch. I’m quite upset since I came close to a true catastrophy of loosing a lot of valuable stuff which I thought I never backed up.

I am in absolutely no mood at all to play anything at this point, but I’m sure I will return in a few days or maybe a week or two since I still want a primo spot in the top 7. Naturally, I will drop down on the list. I see that I’m currently on the 4th spot with some newcomers making the top 7 list.

I wanted to wish both of you good luck in the challenge, and keep practicing as I will be back. Kinglobjaw never gives up. =)

Take care, enjoy the rest of the weekend and do your fingers a favor and relax a bit.

Hi, just found this and was curious where people are now on the list? I am just in the Top 20, a little ahead of you king and definitely no cheating. I have been following some postings on some other sites–does anyone here know what Amex will do? It took me so long to get where I am now, and am still 8 seconds behind the person in 7th place!

I cant make any gains in Costa Rica, Australia, or Hawaii.
