New blog rule I plan to follow based on user feedback- no more airport codes alone in a post. It seems as though certain readers are not an airline/aviation “geek” to my degree. From now on, I will only use airport codes as tags, but I will write the full city name in the actual post. I’m also thinking of adding an airport code lookup widget on the right panel of the blog and/or on Kinglobjaw.com. Just wanted to let you know.

Have a nice clicK life,

-Mark

    Hey Mark,

Yeah I’m terrible with airport codes haha. Not sure if you addressed it before but how come you travel/follow the airline industry so much?

I guess I just have a genuine interest. It’s my favorite mode of transportation and I’m just really interested in everything related to the airlines- flight schedules, routes, aircraft, in-flight and all that good stuff… I travel mostly for pleasure and I’m a miles/points collector and I work this to my favor. I don’t even like cars as much as planes, so that really says something.

I’m pretty good with airport codes, but lately I’m having a hard time to memorize more airport codes, especially the international ones. The best way to etch it into your memory is to be there. Of course, you can’t go everywhere. I’m not saying to take this advice, but Wikipedia is good about all the airport codes. Just type the airport name, and you’ll find all of the aiport info I along with the code. Like here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ronald_Reagan_Washington_National_Airport
